Services & Fees
Services
The following are some of the services that are routinely offered. Often, our challenges don’t fit into a neat and tidy box, because people are complex! If the services listed below don’t match your current needs, please contact me to explore what other provided services might be helpful to you.
Weekly or Bi-Weekly Sessions
A typical therapy session is 55 minutes in length and occurs either weekly or every other week. Sessions that occur less frequently are dependent on schedule availability.
Intensives
These sessions are typically 3+ hours in length and may be scheduled ad hoc or as part of a more extensive therapeutic engagement. Using a combination of modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), longer sessions can be a way to address acute trauma and/or to move more quickly through the healing process.

If billing insurance, the session fee will be the amount allowable by your specific insurance plan and your financial responsibility will depend on your plan deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance.

*I do offer a sliding scale and details can be found below. I also offer a FREE 15-minute initial consultation to explore what services might be most helpful to you. Once we have met, we will decide how to proceed so you get the support you need. Contact me to schedule an appointment.
Cancellations:
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you’re unable to make your appointment or if you would like to reschedule. Cancellations, re-scheduled sessions, and "no shows" of 55 minute appointments will be subject to a $100 fee if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Cancellations, re-scheduled sessions, and "no shows" of Intensives will be subject to the full fee for the scheduled session if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you will lose some of that session time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late for a session is considered a "no show" and the fee will be charged.
Severe Weather:
In the event of severe weather, the closing schedule for Monroe County Community Schools will be used to guide decisions for scheduled appointments. When possible, direct contact between therapist and client will be made to determine whether we will meet in person, via Telehealth, or cancel/reschedule the appointment. If Telehealth is not an option due to privacy or accessibility issues, clients may cancel their appointments without incurring a late cancellation fee.
Sliding Scale
For clients who are paying out of pocket I offer a 3 tiered sliding scale, based on the criteria in the image below. If you feel your financial status meets the criteria of tiers 1 or 2 please let me know and we will discuss options.
Tier 3 = $150
Tier 2 = $120
Tier 1 = $50 (limited number of spots)

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your therapy services will cost.
Under the No Surprises Act (Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act), health care providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance—or who are not using insurance—an estimate of expected charges for services.
A Good Faith Estimate includes the total expected cost of non-emergency services, such as session fees and any related costs. You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before scheduling a service, and you will receive one in writing at least one business day before your scheduled appointment.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your estimate for your records.
For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call me directly at
