Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Bloomington, Indiana, offering trauma-informed therapy to adults across the state via in-person and telehealth services.

A thoughtful, collaborative approach to healing

I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in compassion, collaboration, and honesty. My role isn’t to “fix” you—but to walk alongside you as you begin to better understand yourself and the experiences that have shaped you.

I primarily work with mid-to-late life adults who are exploring the lasting impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to understand why they think, feel, or respond the way they do—and how to create meaningful change.

Trauma and early attachment wounds don’t just live in memory. They can affect us psychologically, emotionally, and physically—often showing up as anxiety, depression, dissociation, substance use, or persistent life challenges.

Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and respectful, creating space for insight, healing, and new ways of relating to yourself.

My Approach

My work is trauma-informed and integrative, meaning I draw from multiple approaches to support the whole person—not just symptoms.

I’m especially interested in:

  • The connection between mind and body, and how trauma is stored somatically

  • Epigenetics, and how environment and experience can influence gene expression and healing

  • Helping clients understand and work with different “parts” of themselves

  • Creating a therapeutic space that includes both depth and moments of humor and humanity

I also recognize the very real impact of systemic oppression and marginalization, and I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space while continuing my own learning and growth.

Education & Training

I hold:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University

  • A Master’s degree in Information Science from Indiana University

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Miami University

My advanced training includes:

I am a member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) and prioritize staying current with research and best practices in trauma therapy.

A Bit More About Me

Outside of my work, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning and exploring—whether that’s through a good book, time outdoors kayaking or hiking, traveling, or getting immersed in a new TV series.

Curiosity is something I value deeply—both in my own life and in the therapy room. There is always more to understand, and that openness can be a powerful part of the healing process.
